Program Summary:
Have you ever had someone turn down a promotion because they didn’t feel ready to lead others? Or seen a new manager struggle—or even step down—after being promoted? The transition from individual contributor (IC) to manager is a big leap, and without the right support, it can feel overwhelming for even the most capable employees.
As HR professionals, you have a unique opportunity to ensure promotions are the right fit and to set new managers up for success. In this session, we’ll explore the four most common mistakes organizations make when promoting ICs to managers—and what you can do instead.
You’ll walk away with practical, actionable strategies to help your new managers thrive in their roles. (And yes, there will be some free gifts, too!)
