BAHRA's College Relations Makes the Grade!

BAHRA’s College Relations Committee Makes the Grade

The Boulder Area Human Resources Association (BAHRA) Rising Pros and College Relations Committees are thrilled to announce another on-campus event at CU to promote, advance and elevate the profession of human resources. For the first time, the partnership of Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado at Boulder, HR UndergroundX and BAHRA has created an impactful program and fun evening of networking and knowledge sharing, that will benefit students, current HR practitioners and emerging leaders alike.

Hear esteemed panelists share their wisdom and sage advice as they tackle business challenges around technology in human resources, competitive differentiation through innovation, plus diversity and inclusion and much more.

  • Courtney Graham, Chief People Officer at Four Winds Interactive
  • Alison Meadows, SVP of People at Evolve Vacation Rental
  • Josh Ashton, Chief People Officer at Trineo
  • Greg Roche, Senior Director of Compensation & Benefits at Optum

Register for HR on Campus happening October 22, 2019 from 5:30-7:30pm by going to www.bahra.org

Here’s a glimpse of other College Relations Committee initiatives…

In support of Leeds Talent Management students, BAHRA member organizations hosted a number of students for their Spring Shadow Day in May. Through this shadowing, students were exposed to real-world daily business operations, office tours, informational interviews, observation of team meetings and project collaboration.

Additionally, we were honored to have BAHRA member organizations selected to participate in CU’s fall Internship Accelerator Course, an intensive seminar focused on developing critical competencies to support Leeds undergraduates in the transition to the workplace as interns or employees through their work on “micro-internship” projects as defined by the sponsoring companies.

If any of these initiatives speak to you and you have a desire to get involved with our work with students, we’d love to have you consider volunteering with the College Relations Committee. Contact us at [email protected] for more information.
