3:15 pm - PRESENTATION PART A:  "The Power of Coaching" with Ryan Farrell, SHRM-CP, PHR of the Farrell Group, LLC
Program Summary:
This talk will provide a definition and explanation of coaching and then explore examples of the impact this approach can have in the workplace.
Points attendees will learn: 
 1. Members can expect to leave with a new framework for how leaders and people managers can spur powerful learning and growth as well as coaching tools and tactics for building coaching relationships at work.
 2. Attendees will be able to describe how a coaching approach differs from traditional management styles. 
 3. Attendees will be able to describe how coaching can contribute to the training and development of employees. 
 4. Attendees will be well-versed in how creating a coaching culture can impact retention.

4:30 pm - PRESENTATION PART B: "HR 101 Skill Building" with Meghan Barry, SHRM-CP (KPA), Mike DiGiosio (IMA Financial Group, Inc.), Tracy Graf, SHRM-CP, CVF (Fuse - Igniting Communications) and Jasen Stephany, SHRM-CP (Red Van Workshop)
Program Summary:
Four 15-minute HR skill building stations with area HR professionals and members of the BAHRA board. Topics to include Employee Onboarding, Compensation and Benefits, Interview Strategies, and Talent Development. Participants will rotate through each mini-workshop, guided by local HR professionals.
Points attendees will learn:
 1. Strategies for interviewing candidates
 2. How to effectively onboard employees
 3. A guide to managing compensation and benefits
 4. Tools for talent development
5:45 - 6:30 pm  - Networking/Optional Brewery Tour  (CLOSED TOE SHOES REQUIRED)

Recertification Credit: This program has been submitted for 2 hours of both HRCI and SHRM Certification credits.
