Program Summary:
Power In Complexity:  The KISS Principle.  Keep it simple, stupid.  Great advice, right? Except you don’t live in simple times, you don’t have a simple job, and you don’t have simple problems. You have Complex ones!
Does anyone really think there’s anything simple in a world of quiet quitting, hybrid work environments, shifting competitive pressure, and generational shifts happening in the midst of covid, climate, social unrest, and JEDIB?
The question of the day is—when no one even knows what normal is anymore— how do you have power, speed, and effectiveness in a complex world that gets more complex every time you turn around?
In this talk you will discover:
 • How and why you make the complex simple, how and why you make the simple complex, and how it messes you up.
 • A powerful model for dealing with complexity to empower performance
 • The hidden blindspot that robs you of power in this model, and in all other models
You will leave with:
 • The ability to identify blindspots and avoid the mistakes and breakdowns they are designed to trick you into
 • A reliable (and counter-intutive!) way to generate effective action for complex issues
 • A new way to listen with powerful questions that create alignment, trust, and collaboration when the heat is on
