Yvette Costa, founder and CEO, Full Circle Coaching + Consulting  - "Employee Mindset: The Key to Wellbeing in the Workplace"
Investment by employers in well-being programs— EAPs, flexible work schedules, yoga classes, meditation apps and many more—has increased yet we’re seeing a decrease in measures of wellbeing. A growth mindset is the key to improving these measures. There are simple tools, based in science, that can help create a positive mindset. This talk will outline basic approaches that can impact employee mindset toward the programs you offer and increase their overall wellbeing at work.
Chuck Passaglia
Chuck Passaglia, President, Employment Law Solutions Inc. & Author of Can I Bring My Monkey to Work? Answers to 45 of the Wildest Workplace Law Questions - "Annual Employment Law Update: POWR to the People!"
Colorado enacted significant legislation in 2023 and employers must be prepared. This session will address the new Protecting Opportunities and Workers' Rights (POWR), which enacts far-reaching changes to Colorado law, including a lower threshold for harassment claims. Also, Colorado further limited confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements; added robust recordkeeping requirements; restricted asking for most age-related information in hiring; redefined the posting requirements under its broad Equal Pay for Equal Work Act; and expanded the rights of public sector workers. At the same time, federal agencies have crafted new rules subjecting employers to even more scrutiny and potential violations of law. Finally, the U.S. Supreme Court has changed the landscape of work with its recent rulings, including ending affirmative action in higher education. This is a must-attend session for human resources and legal professionals
