About This Event: The Gallup Organization research proves that an employee's relationship with their boss determines their productivity & how long they stay with an organization. In this session, we will learn proven tools and practical strategies that may be implemented right away for coaching leaders to engage and retain employees through creating a positive work climate, fostering positive relationships, utilizing positive communication, and helping employees connect their work to greater meaning and purpose.
Rooted in positive psychology research, positive leadership brings out the best in people and organizations.  Positive leaders empower employees to flourish through innovative approaches resulting in achievement of their highest potential.  Research has shown that organizations with positive leadership practices achieve outcomes that surpass the norm in profitability, productivity, quality, innovation, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement/retention.

Through this program attendees will learn practical tools and strategies in the four pillars of positive leadership and how to enable extraordinary performance by coaching leaders to:
1) Foster a positive work climate to empower employees to thrive
2) Develop positive relationships with employees and teams
3) Utilize supportive and positive communication strategies
4) Motivate and engage employees through connecting their work with positive meaning

About the Speaker: 
Amy Packer Headshot  Amy Packer is an organization development consultant and executive coach with over 17 years of experience.  She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Communication and certificates in Instructional Design and Organization Development.  She has been coaching and consulting with organizations in Colorado and beyond since 2005.
Amy uses a strengths-based approach in working with clients to build the skills they need to work together most effectively and ultimately achieve extraordinary results.  Her passion is helping to bring out the best in organizations and their people by building on the strengths that already exist.  Amy’s specialty in her executive coaching practice is coaching women leaders to remove the barriers that get in the way of reaching their full potential.  She recently completed the Playing Big course with author Tara Mohr and uses these tools with women leaders in individual and group coaching.

Recertification Credit:  This program has been submitted for 1 hour of both HRCI and SHRM Certification credits.
